Jamey Dunn was born in Mobile, Alabama. He moved to the Gulf Coast at the age of 8. His passion for writing began at an early age through his love of reading and his desire to become a published author. At 12 years old he began writing poetry which later evolved into book reviews for local newspapers
He continues to write book reviews and editorials for several publications throughout the United States, including The Daily Herald, The Mobile Press-Register, and The Pensacola News Journal. He has also written for "Peach Magazine" in the Peach State. He attended Florida State University before moving to Orlando, Florida where he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications.
